Antoine claims Intercontinental title, now faces Ultimate Warrior in cage match
Matt Antoine of Praire Du Chien, Wisconsin might have bitten off more than he can chew this weekend when he claimed the Intercontinental Title in Lake Placid, New York. He must now defend his title against former WWE superstar the "Ultimate Warrior" in a no-holds barred cage match in Austin, Texas next month at Wrestlemania.
The match, scheduled for Wrestlemania XXX, is the first crossover sporting event between Professional Wrestling and Skeleton.
"We see a lot of potential in teaming up with USA Bobsled and Skeleton" said WWE spokesman Pat Williams. "We are especially excited to get our athletes in the ring with the most electrifying man in sliding entertainment, Matt Antoine".
Unfortunately for Mr. Antoine, he is still subject to USADA and WADA testing at the event, preventing him from gaining 100 pounds of muscle prior to facing the Ultimate Warrior. Instead, he will rely on his sheer good looks, boyish charm, and unparalled martial arts ability to defend his title.
